What kind of challenges await you?
The boutique manager creates and maintains the Beauté Star experience for our customers and employees. She supervises the daily operations of the boutique and develops her employees through a collaborative leadership style.
The boutique manager is an inspiring leader who motivates and coaches her team to promote brand loyalty and deliver high performance, efficient operations, and profitability for the boutique.
Operational
- Supervise and delegate tasks to the team to maximize the efficiency of boutique operations using the planner.
- Ensure that visual merchandising guidelines are effectively implemented according to management.
- Apply price changes, liquidations, and various promotions.
- Perform and supervise boutique opening and closing procedures, including cash register balancing and bank deposits.
- Maintain the weekly hour budget to ensure adequate sales floor coverage, adjusting as needed based on business activities.
- Perform and supervise operational tasks such as transfers, defectives, shipping and receiving merchandise to maintain inventory integrity and, by extension, merchandise levels.
Team Supervision
- Network, recruit, hire, train and continuously develop staff on product knowledge, sales skills, visual merchandising, and customer experience.
- Evaluate performance and provide regular follow-ups to staff by offering consistent, positive, and constructive coaching.
- Be a leader who achieves results by leading by example and taking action.
- Establish work schedules, approve time punches, and validate the accuracy of the pay period.
Results-Oriented
- Attend weekly meetings with the DM and other sector managers to obtain information.
- Participate in corporate events, various manufacturer events, product launches, and in-person meetings.
- Utilize various management tools: planner, sales tracking, orientation guide, register, visit report, etc.
- Understand the different reports submitted by management: classification, objectives, sales reports, KPIs.
We want to meet you if:
- 2-3 years of management experience as a boutique manager or assistant manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hairdressing or aesthetics certificate (an asset).
- Ease with interpersonal communication: transparency, benevolence, and rigor.
- Adaptability, creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Aptitude for building a results-oriented team.
- Comfort with technology.
- Ability to solve problems professionally.
- Great team spirit and ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week.
