If you are not completely satisfied with your Beauté Star purchase for any reason, we will gladly exchange it, refund it, or credit it to your account as quickly as possible.

Our primary goal is complete customer satisfaction. Whether in-store, during online purchases, or through your representative or customer service for our professional clients, any type of dissatisfaction will be taken seriously and addressed. Beauté Star is committed to building strong and lasting relationships with you, based on a relationship of trust. Our guarantee reflects this commitment.

Returns, exchanges and refunds

If you are not completely satisfied with your Beauté Star purchase, for any reason, we will gladly exchange it, refund it, or credit it to your account as quickly as possible.

Returned products must be new or gently used. Electrical products and jewelry MUST be packaged in their original packaging. Beauté Star monitors customer return activity resulting from abuse, and if we detect or consider excessive or potentially fraudulent activity, the customer initiating this activity may be notified in writing that Beauté Star will no longer accept any returns from them, with or without a receipt.

All returns are subject to validation and approval at the discretion of Beauté Star. Beauté Points associated with all refunds will be deducted once the transaction is processed.

Items shipped to Beauté Star beyond the return period and that are not lightly used or in good condition, do not have the original Beauté Star packing slip, or were not purchased from Beauté Star, may not be credited or returned. We will not offer replacements or refunds for orders or items that are reported missing or damaged.

Here are some additional details.

  • You must return the products within 60 days of the purchase date to be eligible.
  • All returns must be accompanied by the original sales receipt or Return Authorization document if the return is not made to one of our stores or to a representative for our professional customers.
  • The refund will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase. If the same refund method cannot be used, Beauté Star will issue a gift card equivalent to the amount of the return.
    • If you paid with a credit or debit card, you will receive a full refund to your credit or debit card
      • If you paid with a Beauté Star gift card or with Beauté Points, you will receive a refund in the form of a Beauté Star gift card
      • For beauty professionals only: If you charged your purchase to your account, a credit will be issued to your customer account.
    • If there is an impediment to using the original payment method, Beauté Star will issue a Beauté Star gift card for the amount of the return.
  • Beauty Points awarded when purchasing a returned item will be deducted from your Beauty Points account if applicable.

Online shopping

Your online purchases can be returned via carrier, to one of our Beauté Star stores or to your representative (professional customers only). Please note that the delivery fees paid for your original purchase will not be refunded and that return shipping costs via carriers are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a shipping error or products damaged during transport.

1. Return by carrier

To avoid shipping costs and expedite your refund, you can return your merchandise to any of our Beauté Star stores (business customers only). However, if you decide to return your items via carrier, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. The choice of carrier is yours, but we strongly recommend using a return with parcel tracking to avoid potential package losses by the carrier.

Please complete the online form or contact customer service at 450-967-7827 ( 1-800-361-1978 ) to obtain a return authorization document. We will email you the authorization document to print and include with your return.

Please return your items to the address below and include in your return box the return authorization document received via email from our customer service.

Once we have completed processing your return, we will send you a confirmation via email. If the refund is applied to a credit card, please allow 7 to 10 days after receiving the confirmation email before the transaction appears on your credit card statement.

Please note that we are unable to offer exchanges by carrier. However, we are happy to exchange your new or lightly used product at one of our Beauté Star stores within 60 days of purchase (business customers only).

2. Return/exchange in store (professional customers only)

To avoid shipping costs for your return, we recommend that you return your merchandise to one of our Beauté Star stores.

Simply bring the item(s) you wish to return to the store with its original order confirmation email, the sales invoice received by email, or the sales invoice without a price that was included in your shipment.

3. Damaged products or order errors

Don't worry, we'll fix this unfortunate situation for you. Simply fill out the online form or contact our customer service at 450-967-7827 (1-800-361-1978) and we'll send you a return label (if applicable). We'll ship any missing or damaged items at our expense.

4. Return/exchange via your representative (professional customers only)

If you have a sales representative assigned to your customer account or one of our stores is accessible to you, we recommend dealing directly with them for your exchanges. In-store exchanges are always the fastest and least expensive course of action. However, we understand that our stores are not accessible to everyone, which is why your representative can always handle this type of file for you.

The processing time for an exchange is 10 business days following receipt of the item(s) at our warehouse.

5. Details regarding purchases on our website

It is important to us to provide you with service and products that meet your expectations and needs. However, we reserve the right to revise an inaccurate price or description and to cancel or refuse an order in which certain items have an inaccurate price or description. These corrections may be made after the order has been accepted. In the event that the error is related to our inventory and in order to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, we reserve the right to refund the product directly.

Cancellation of an order placed on the website may occur if, for example, the ordered items cannot be shipped due to an unforeseen event. In this case, customer service will contact you directly.

The price of each product is linked to the format and not to the photo.

Online inventory availability

Beauté Star makes every effort to ensure that the products available for sale are in stock. In the event that an item is no longer available due to a stock shortage following your order, we will indicate on your sales invoice and on the unpriced sales invoice received in your package that the item is no longer available and you will not be charged for this item. We do not manage items that are out of stock for subsequent shipment unless the item was a free item associated with your purchase.

Delivery and return costs

If your product is damaged during shipping or there is an error in the preparation of your order, the delivery and return costs will be covered by Beauté Star. For any other reason, delivery costs are non-refundable and the return costs are your responsibility. Professional customers only: If you wish to avoid these costs, we encourage you to go through one of our stores or your representative for your returns. For electrical appliances, you MUST have the original packaging on hand to qualify.

Returns are handled by the carrier of your choice. This means that you are also responsible for delivery and any associated costs. We recommend using a shipping method that allows you to track your package using a tracking number. If you are returning potentially hazardous materials (e.g., peroxide or aerosol bottles), make sure you use a shipping company that accepts delivery of these types of products. We suggest Canada Post, Canpar, FedEx, or UPS as carriers.

Professional clients only

In-store purchase (business customers only)

Returns or exchanges for items purchased in one of our stores can be made in-store, through your representative, or via carrier. The eligibility requirements for returning or exchanging items purchased in-store are the same as for online purchases. It is important to note that these items must be returned within 60 days of the purchase date, along with the receipt. Midi34 jewelry must be returned to the store where the purchase was made. This applies regardless of the method used to return your item.

Exchange of electronic or furniture products under warranty

For our professional customers only: We respect an additional year of guarantee from the salon to the consumer upon presentation of proof of sale of the product to a consumer.

JEWELRY EXCHANGE UNDER WARRANTY (MIDI34 ONLY): This range is guaranteed for 1 year against defective products. They must be returned to the store where the purchase was made with the original receipt for on-site exchange.

Final sale

For various reasons, such as hygiene, some products are final sale and are not refundable or exchangeable, unless in the case of damaged product as defined above.

Fraud and Audit Prevention

For verification purposes, we may ask you to provide your name, address, and phone number at the time of return or exchange. You may also be asked to provide photo ID to confirm this information. This information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act.

FAQ

No, the refund of your return will be made via a Beauté Star gift card that can be used for a subsequent purchase.

Unfortunately the coupon is no longer usable despite the complete return of the original purchase.

Beauté Points earned on the initial purchase will be deducted from your account.

We cannot refund you in cash the amount of the return. However, if you have a gift receipt upon return, you can either exchange the product (see policy above) or we can issue you a Beauté Star gift card for the amount of the return.
